Through The Flowers
Through The Flowers, a film by Tobias Roediger in conjunction with Mikesell Productions, is in the final stages of post production, ready for the 2012 festival circuit. Award winning actors Amber Mikesell and Chris Tucci portray one man’s struggle to find closure after losing his son and his visit to his ex-wife for a chance to seize a new life that he so desperately needs.
Wiksell Mallory Productions provided all foley, voiceover and audio post production work for the film, due out in 2012.
The Wiksell Mallory Productions team is scoring the remaining episodes of Two Doors Down – The Web Series in anticipation of the red carpet launch event occurring at Studio 35 in Columbus, Ohio on August 21, 2011. The Wiksell Mallory Productions team wrote and produced the original soundtrack for the new short film by See Spot Film Productions entitled Temping Fate, a Columbus, Ohio 48 Hour Film Project film. See Spot Film Productions is competing with 40 other teams for the prize of Best Film in Columbus and for a chance to win international awards. The film was shot and produced the weekend of July 22 – 24, 2011 and screened at the Grandview Theatre in Columbus on July 28, 2011.

The Wiksell Mallory Productions team was in the studio this week producing A Different Shade of Blue, a jazz piece written by our friend Bryan Michael Block. We will be recording Bryan’s vocals in the near future and then working with him on a music video for the song. Stay tuned for further developments!
The Wiksell Mallory Productions team wrote and produced original music for submission to a New York media production company seeking music in up-tempo rock or rock-rap styles for mixed martial arts / sports online programs. We’re looking forward to working with media production companies requesting music for these types of programs!

The Wiksell Mallory Productions team wrote and produced 4 additional tracks to be used on the PBS program Framelines. Framelines is a show about filmmaking in central Ohio and airs on the Ohio Channel, which feeds every single PBS channel in the state. Framelines has also started going out to education channels in neighboring states: Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, and West Virginia. Wiksell Mallory Productions wrote and produced the theme music for Framelines in December 2010 and provided series background music all through the first half of 2011.

The Wiksell Mallory Productions team wrote and produced the original soundtrack and all audio production for the short film by Mr. Frights Productions entitled “Gnaw”. This is a horror film that was released in October on You Tube.

The Wiksell Mallory Productions team wrote and produced the original soundtrack and sound design for the new short film by Echo Productions entitled Night Prey, a Columbus, Ohio 48 Hour Film Project film. Echo Productions is competing with 34 other teams for the prize of Best Film in Columbus and for a chance to win international awards. The film was shot and produced the weekend of August 13 – 15, 2010 and screened at Gateway Film Center in Columbus on August 18, 2010, and won Best Choreography, thanks in part to the Wiksell Mallory team’s score for the warehouse chase scene.

This internal training video was central to a marketing and branding campaign within the company and the Wiksell Mallory composition provided the perfect backdrop for the campaign’s success.
